Progression was the most common theme mentioned across all of Glassdoor’s Top 50 employee reviews, with almost 5,000 mentions.

 

Colleagues and employee benefits were commonly mentioned. A focus on company culture featured more frequently in reviews than mentions of salary.

Only three UK companies managed to achieve the highest score of 4.6 out of 5. The most common rating for a Glassdoor Top 50 employer was 4.3.

There were a total of 28 separate industries featured in Glassdoor’s Top 50 employers.

 

Topping the charts for best-rated industries were Computer Hardware Development and Enterprise Software and Network Solutions, with five Top 50 companies each. Not far behind was Information Technology Support Services, with four companies featuring in the Top 50 employers list.
